In the book The Miracle Morning, Hal Elrod introduces a simple, powerful routine to start one’s day out right. It is called “SAVERS”, an acronym for six practices to start each day with purpose and intention. Here’s what SAVERS stands for:
- S – Silence: Start with quiet time—meditation, prayer, deep breathing, or reflection—to ground yourself and reduce stress.
- A – Affirmations: Speak empowering statements aloud to reprogram your mindset, boost confidence, and reinforce your goals.
- V – Visualization: Picture yourself achieving your goals and living your ideal life. This builds belief and motivation.
- E – Exercise: Move your body to increase energy, mental clarity, and overall health.
- R – Reading: Read a few pages of a personal development or inspirational book to grow your knowledge and mindset.
- S – Scribing: Write in a journal—express gratitude, reflect, or plan your day. This brings clarity and focus.
You can customize the time spent on each (even just 1–2 minutes each for a 6-minute Miracle Morning) to fit your schedule. If you make this a habit, good energy will undoubtedly flow. Have a good day!
